COUNSELLING, TRAINING AND JOB:

INTEGRATION BETWEEN SYSTEMS FOR A BETTER EMPLOYABILITY

The Lifelong Learning Programme is a programme of Community action in the field of lifelong learning. One of the activities that LLP previous is the "Transversal Programme" which includes the Key Activity 1 "Policy cooperation and innovation".

This activity allows Institutions, agencies, organizations and associations involved in education and training to organize study visits in Italy, inviting experts, officials, managers, directors of educational institutions and training and services guidance, and the social partners from all over Europe, to discuss issues of common concern expressed in the priorities of the programme.

A visit may include lectures, debates, visits to institutions and agencies dealing with education and training, meetings with local leaders, teachers, pupils, education staff and trainers training.

Department Vocational Training and Job Policies of Province of Pesaro and Urbino considered an important opportunity to propose a study visit project to the European Training (CEDEFOP), for organizing a meeting in his country on the theme "Counselling, training and job: integration between systems for a better employability”.

This experience is presented as a real opportunity to interact with representatives, experts and administrators of education and training of other European countries for:

- Exchanging best practices;

- Increasing knowledge;

- Establishing fruitful contacts for future cooperation in European projects;

- Promoting partnerships;

- Knowing the different European systems of education and training;

- Establishing and devising new methods and new approaches to the issue of common interest.

The study visit will take place in Pesaro from 12 to 15 October 2009.

The Agenda is primarily focused on the organization of services provided by the Job Centers of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, and on how this system integrates with other socio-economic aspects of the local context. Department Vocational Training and Job Policies is responsible for all other learning activities and employment policies of the Province: such as training courses, internships, incentives for entrepreneurship, coordination of Job Centers; management of the European Social Fund.

Employability is one of the main objectives of the Department Vocational Training and Job Policies of the Province of Pesaro e Urbino and is achieved by the integration of a different systems of counselling, training and job implemented by the Job Centers of Pesaro, Fano and Urbino.

The innovation is the integration not only of their functions but also of the structures of the three Job centers, a model that is peculiar only to the territory of our province.

In order to introduce this complex and complemented system, visits are planned facilities and meetings with institutional representatives, social partners, education system (schools and universities) and companies representing the territory of the Province of Pesaro e Urbino.
